Man Shot Dead in Dispute at Mission Bay Hotel

San Diego police took three men into custody Saturday in connection with the shooting death of a 21-year-old man who was slain following a dispute in a Mission Bay hotel parking lot, authorities said.

The victim, identified as Hector Martin Ramirez of San Diego, was pronounced dead in the parking lot of the Bahia Resort Hotel after he was shot in the head at 1:12 a.m, police and the medical examiner’s officer said.

Police said the shots were fired after the victim had argued with three men, who were taken into custody in National City in connection with the homicide.

The identities of the three men were not available.
