Operation Rescue continued its low-key approach in abortion protests around the country, with demonstrators refraining from blockading clinics and the group's founder telling them to take their fight to Congress. As a counterpoint, abortion rights demonstrators in San Jose, Calif., and St. Louis Park, Minn., staged noisy demonstrations in front of churches attended by the group's members. In Palm Bay, Fla., Operation Rescue founder Randy Terry told a church gathering that the group must fight proposed federal legislation that would limit protesters' access to abortion clinics.
