SANTA ANA : Cesar Chavez School Registering Students
Students who plan to attend Cesar Chavez High School for the 1994-95 school year should make appointments to pick up registration materials, a spokeswoman for the Santa Ana Unified School District said.
Students can call (714) 566-8418 by Tuesday for an appointment. After that date, students should go to the campus, at 2128 S. Cypress St., spokeswoman Diane Thomas said.
The alternative education school--the system’s 44th and newest campus--is open to all high school students in the district. It will open Sept. 8.
To register at the district’s other high schools, students must return completed enrollment forms, which are included in registration packets. Returning students should have received those packets in the mail, Thomas said.
Students new to the district can pick up the packets by going to their new schools, but they must also provide immunization records and transcripts from the school they previously attended. Students who are transferring within the district do not need to provide transcripts, she said.
All campuses that are not on year-round schedules open Sept. 8, Thomas said.
