PACOIMA — A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were hospitalized in serious condition after being shot in a drive-by shooting Tuesday, according to authorities.
A third victim suffered minor injuries, said Jason Lee, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department. The identities of the victims were not available late Tuesday, he said.
He said no arrests had been made but police were looking for a white van. “We don’t have further description,” of the vehicle or possible suspects, he said.
The shooting occurred at about 4 p.m., in the 12600 block of Pierce Street, near Glenoaks Boulevard, Lee said.
The injured included a 19-year-old shot in the abdomen and thigh who was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills where he was in serious condition, said Bob Collis, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A 17-year-old shot in the left thigh was taken to Pacifica Hospital of the Valley in Sun Valley and was in serious condition, he said.
A 22-year-old man suffered minor ankle wounds, authorities said.
