No Endorsement, but It’s a Start
Freshman forward Travis Reed received his second starting nod in a row Thursday night against Northern Arizona.
Reed tied a season high with 14 points and set a season high with 10 rebounds in his first start last Saturday in UCLA’s victory over Cal State Fullerton.
“I didn’t think he played that well, and he had 14 [points] and 10 [rebounds],” Coach Steve Lavin said.
‘It’s a good sign if you’re not pleased with how someone’s playing and they get a double-double, especially a freshman.”
