Corel Corp., whose WordPerfect software continues to lose market share to Microsoft, said it will fire 20% of its staff, and it reported a loss of $8.31 million, or 14 cents a share, for the second quarter as revenue plummeted 28% to $63 million. It earned $4.1 million, or 6 cents, a year ago.
