Sewing Business in Pacoima Suffers Roof Damage in Blaze
A sewing business suffered roof damage in a fire Wednesday night, a Fire Department spokesman said.
The blaze broke out about 8:25 p.m. at Alex’s Sewing and Cutting, a one-story building in the 11400 block of Bradley Avenue, said Bob Collis, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman.
About 50 firefighters fought the blaze, which took about 25 minutes to extinguish, Collis said. The fire damaged a 40-by-40-foot section of the 60-by-100-foot building.
Most of the damage was to the roof, Collis said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, Collis said. No damage estimate was available.
