The City Council recently agreed to renew a contract with a Washington, D.C.-based advocacy firm that helped the city garner millions in state and public funds during the last five years. The contract with the Ferguson Group will last until Nov. 30, 1999, and will not exceed $39,000.
Officials said the group is responsible for helping the city receive $1.9 million for the widening of Imperial Highway and $985,000 for Orange Freeway ramp improvements.
