Disneyland has two new emissaries of goodwill. Dorell L. Mitter, 25, of Fullerton and Jennifer T. Simis, 26, a resident of Tustin Ranch, were selected Thursday as members of the Millennium Ambassador Team.
A New Jersey native, Mitter is the lead desk clerk at the Disneyland Hotel. He is also a leader with Disneyland University, a training curriculum for employees. Simis is a registered nurse in Disneyland’s Health Services Department and does volunteer work with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
During a special ceremony Thursday at Disneyland’s Fantasyland Theatre, the two were selected from eight finalists. They will assume duties Jan. 1 and represent the Disneyland Resort and its cast members through June 2000.
