The city’s Youth Task Force will meet Friday to discuss community programs that need to be increased or discontinued to better serve both teenage residents and at-risk adolescents. An occasional snowboarding trip that draws a lot of youth participation is one event that could be offered more often, said task force member Councilwoman Cassie DeYoung. The committee is expected to offer its suggestions to the City Council in August, DeYoung said.
