STANTON
The City Council recently approved a citywide recycling program mandating that all city departments use recycled products and minimize the use of paper products whenever possible. Paul Rellis, executive vice president of CR&R;, a waste distribution center in Stanton, spoke in support of the measure at the council meeting. Rellis said that without a demand for recycled products, recycling cannot be an effective tool for reducing waste.
