Ousted Judge Vows to Continue Fighting
Chief Justice Roy Moore, who was ousted from his position for refusing to comply with a federal court order to remove a Ten Commandments monument from the state judicial building in Montgomery, said he plans to continue the fight that has made him a darling of conservative Christians.
“I consider myself a man who has upheld his oath and done what I had to do to keep the Constitution of Alabama, the Constitution of the United States as the rule of law,” Moore said on NBC’s “Today” show. Moore said he wants to rein in the power of federal courts.
