Lawyer Is Accused of Preying on Girls Online

A lawyer accused of using the Internet to prey on young girls was charged Wednesday with multiple criminal counts.
Arthur George Crabtree, 43, was arrested Jan. 19 after corresponding with an undercover officer he thought was a 13-year-old girl, prosecutors said. Crabtree faces felony counts of an attempted lewd act upon a child, attempted child molestation and sending harmful matter over the Internet, and misdemeanor counts of attempted child molestation. He is free on $100,000 bail.
