Cesar Chavez Celebration: Santa Ana will celebrate the Cesar Chavez holiday, observed on or around March 31, at Cesar Chavez Campesino Park from 1 to 5 p.m. Event will include entertainment, community leaders and a keynote address by Teresa Chavez Delgado, Chavez’s granddaughter. Car Show and Easter Egg Hunt: The Mattel Children’s Car Show and Easter egg hunt will take place at the John Force RaceStation in Yorba Linda from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital Pediatric Oncology Department. Spring Tour & Egg Hunt: Costa Mesa’s Fairview Friends Committee will conduct a tour of Fairview Park at 10 a.m. at the south end of the main parking lot on the west side of Placentia Avenue. An egg hunt along the trail tour will be included. Free. (714) 754-5698

Pancake Breakfast: The Silverado Firefighters Assn. will hold its annual Easter pancake breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon.
