Ellis gets his due

SCOTT TIMBERG’S piece on Bret Easton Ellis is brilliant and a landmark [“The Gen X Poster Boy’s Endless Ennui,” March 23]. I was a publicist for “Glamorama” way back in the day, and will always think that book didn’t get a fair shake. Plus, Bret was one of the kindest, most sincere and authentic writers I’ve ever worked with. I agree with A.O. Scott that in 100 years “Glamorama” (and, I think, Bret’s books in general) will be reconsidered and more appreciated. But I’m betting on sooner.
