Good old days
Hats off to The Times for its look back at the 1984 Olympics.
Presumably the daily retrospectives are cobbled together by reviewing back issues from when The Times was committed to producing a sports section. I look forward to the year 2034 when I can hopefully pick up the paper and find out what happened in sports today.

Please, no more front-page pictures of Michael Phelps, at least until the 2012 Summer Olympics. After all, this is the L.A. Times, not High Times.
