Monty Beisel puts Encino home on the market

Share

Arizona Cardinal Monty Beisel has listed his Encino contemporary at $2,495,000.

The NFL linebacker completely remodeled the 1962 home, emphasizing clean lines and adding Asian-inspired accents. He painted most of the artwork on the walls. A long, low, glass-fronted fireplace adds drama to the living room, and an oversized island provides prep, cooking and seating space for four in the open kitchen. There are four bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms and 3,797 square feet of living space in two stories. Outside, a deep-blue swimming pool is surrounded by seating areas, including an outdoor living room.

Beisel, 31, played in Super Bowl XLIII with the Cardinals in 2008 and has played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots.

He bought the property in 2006 for $1,615,000, according to public records.

Chad Rogers of Hilton & Hyland, Beverly Hills, and Nicole Van Parys of Re/Max Olson & Associates, have the listing.
