This wasn't just any old party dress for Tu-Anh Pho, 29. This was the Gaithersburg resident's wedding dress. The AOL quality assurance software engineer had just gotten married that afternoon to Piotr Walat at the Annapolis courthouse and was celebrating the occasion with a small group of family and friends at Pazo. "[My style] is actually very plain, very simple. But, for a special occasion, I like to spend time looking for the right things." The right things for her wedding were: a white taffeta Xscape V-neck ruched sheath with fabric roses along one side of the neckline; white satin Kate Spade pointy-toe slingback with bows on the back from 6pm.com; a custom-made pearl bracelet and necklace with satin ribbon ties from Kitty Cats and Airplanes in Columbia. She found her white crocheted gloves with little roses on the backs and a fascinator made of white Swiss lace, ostrich feathers and a rhinestone brooch on etsy.com. Her aubergine pashmina -- as well as her new husband -- came from Dublin, Ireland, which is where she will be moving soon.
