Jack Stanton, 14, from Davidsonville is an avid pet owner with 2 dogs, a cat and 10 chickens. One day he hopes to become a Vet but for now works part time at a Dogie Daycare. He wanted to learn how to give quick aid to an animal via CPR or First aid so he took the class. Here he works on the chest compressions of the demonstration (fake) dog to help try and restart the dogs heart as Class Instructor (and professional dog trainer) Laurie Scible helps him out with the proper techniques. South County Recreation Center offers pet CPR and First Aid training to pet owners and enthusiasts.
