Ford's Focus Electric is a decent option on the EV market. The car reaches a top speed of 84 mph and gets about 76 miles between charges. Ford knocked $4,000 off the car's base price, now at $35,995 with destination fee included, to stay "competitive in the marketplace" among rivals offering increasingly inexpensive leasing deals. Edmunds.com reviewers had little to complain about, highlighting "nimble handling" as a pro and "finicky" infotainment controls as one downside for the car.
