Apple on Tuesday unveiled the second generation of its iPad mini tablet, which will feature its high-resolution Retina display.

The new iPad mini’s 7.9-inch screen will now feature 2,048-by-1,568-pixel resolution, that is the same as the resolution on the full-size iPad. The tablet will also include the company’s new 64-bit A7 chip, Apple said at an event in San Francisco.

The Retina iPad mini will be available later in November for $399. It will come in white and silver or space gray and black color options.

Apple said it would also continue to sell the first generation of the iPad mini, without the Retina display, at a lower price of $299. That’s down from the tablet’s launch price of $329 last year.
