UCLA coach coming

UCLA football coach Rick Neuheisel will be the featured guest for the Orange County Dinner Celebration and Auction Event at a private residence in Newport Beach Saturday at 6 p.m.

The dinner event, in its fourth year, will also include UCLA’s Michael Roll, a guard on the basketball team. Plus, former UCLA greats Tyus Edney, Drew Olson, Sinjin Smith, Jamaal Wilkes, Cade McNown, Eric Byrnes and Bobby Grich are also expected to be in attendance, along with educators, dignitaries and alumni.

Roll will be honored as the inaugural Orange County Student-Athlete Award winner.

Attendees can take part in an open bar, all-you-can-eat prime rib and seafood platters, as well as dancing and purchasing auction items.

Tickets are $150 per person. All proceeds benefit the UCLA Wooden Athletic Fund.
