The “Arrested Development” and “The Millers” actor, 43, and the “Parks and Recreation” star, 42, announced their separation in September 2012, ending their relationship after nine years of marriage. Now they’ve finally moved to formalize the split.

Arnett filed the divorce papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court on April 8, according to People. The actor is requesting joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s two sons, Archie, 5, and Abel, 3, as well as visitation rights, the mag and TMZ said.

Arnett and Poehler wed in August 2003 and have appeared in a slew of comedies together, including TV’s “Arrested Development” and the movies “Blades of Glory” and “Monsters vs. Aliens.” Arnett also made a cameo on “Parks and Rec” in 2010.

Since their separation, Arnett has been linked to Katie Lee, a co-host of Food Network’s “The Kitchen” and ex-wife to singer Billy Joel. Poehler has been romantically linked to her costar Nick Kroll.

It was the Golden Globe Awards host’s first marriage and Arnett’s second. He was previously married to actress Penelope Ann Miller, but the couple divorced in 1995, Us Weekly reported.
