The L.A. disco revival lost a bit of its groove Wednesday.

The planned May 10 dance-music blowout at the Hollywood Bowl, featuring Nile Rodgers’ Chic and Giorgio Moroder has been canceled, according to promoters.

The concert organizers -- Andrew Hewitt, Bill Silva Presents and HARD Events -- only cited “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for the cancellation.

Tensnake, Oliver and Destructo (the DJ alias of HARD Events’ Gary Richards) had also been slated to perform at the concert.

Promoters promised that “Nile and Chic will be back in L.A. soon,” but did not give a date for a make-up show or details on other acts on a prospective bill. Holders of tickets for the May 10 show will be offered a presale for Chic’s next L.A. date.

Refunds are currently available for all ticket holders.
