Talking TV: ‘White Collar’ enters its final (sob) season (sob)

Butch and Sundance met “To Catch a Thief” under the blue skies of USA when FBI agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) recruited the dashing forger, thief, schemer connoisseur, and general man about town Neil Caffrey (Matt Bomer) to aid solving high-profile thefts and scams.

Creator Jeff Eastin eschewed blood and gore for wit, style and an insiders’ guide to the heist -- what Neil doesn’t know, his buddy Mozzie (Willie Garson) does -- while, between them, his two leads covered most versions of the Ideal Man.

Now, five years later, “White Collar” has entered its final, six-episode season. Join creator Eastin, DeKay and television critic Mary McNamara at 2 p.m. to discuss the evolution of “White Collar” and the meaning of a world without it. Tweet questions to #asklatimes. See you there!
