Michelle Obama wears a patterned wrap dress by Diane von Furstenberg on the cover of the November issue of Redbook. She’s in the magazine with a group of five women military veterans who met with her at the White House to talk about problems they have experienced since leaving the military: a chronic level of under- and unemployment. One of the first lady’s pet projects has been to find ways to aid veterans and their families and bring attention to the hurdles they face. [Redbook]

Jennifer Lawrence is on the cover of November Vanity Fair. In the accompanying interview she once again berated whoever stole and spread nude photos of her all over the Internet. “Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this. It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world. ... Anybody who looked at those pictures, you’re perpetuating a sexual offense. You should cower with shame,” she said. [Vanity Fair]

Toddler North West, known for sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week shows with her parents Kanye and Kim Kardashian West, reportedly always looks cute because she has her own fashion stylist. After all, it takes more than Pampers to stand out in a crowd. [Elle]

Model Cindy Crawford, about to turn 50, says the secret to her continuing youthful good looks is skincare and consistency. “When a 35-year-old starts taking care of her skin, she won’t look different. It’s when you’re my age that you start seeing the payoff,” she tells Christine Lennon at Violet Gray. [Violet Gray]
