Michelle Obama wears a patterned wrap dress by Diane von Furstenberg on the cover of the November issue of Redbook. She's in the magazine with a group of five women military veterans who met with her at the White House to talk about problems they have experienced since leaving the military: a chronic level of under- and unemployment. One of the first lady's pet projects has been to find ways to aid veterans and their families and bring attention to the hurdles they face. [Redbook]

Jennifer Lawrence is on the cover of November Vanity Fair. In the accompanying interview she once again berated whoever stole and spread nude photos of her all over the Internet.
