Karl Lagerfeld watch collection for Fossil to launch in L.A.

Karl Lagerfeld’s highly anticipated collection of watches for Fossil is scheduled to launch Thursday. The collection includes seven styles for men and women, priced at $150 to $595. One style, the Zip, has a wristband that can be widened by adding zip-on sections. Other styles include studs, metallic leather, chains and other embellishments.

Locally, the collection is available at Gregory’s, 147 N. Robertson Blvd., Beverly Hills.


Other launches

Los Angeles-based sportswear label Feel the Piece has launched a new line, Tyler Jacobs for Feel the Piece, that is designed to showcase work by up-and-coming street artists.

The first collection in the line features the work of Annie Preece, known for her free-flowing use of color. Tees and tanks in the collection include catchphrases, such as “It’s Not a Puzzle,” and graphics. Pieces are available at Ron Herman, and Nordstrom. Prices range from $75 to $85.


L’il Baby Sprouts baby boutique plans to celebrate its grand opening in Newport Beach from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Classic Kids Photography will be on hand to photograph kids, and there will be a balloon artist and free music class for little ones, along with numerous giveaways, discounts and refreshments. The store is in the Newport North shopping center, 1280 Bison Ave.

Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills is opening new men’s shop The Fifth Man with special events from noon to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Men can make appointments to meet with made-to-measure experts for custom creations, several shoe brands will host trunk shows, complimentary shoe monogramming will be offered on some brands, and there will be music and refreshments.
