Bomb threat briefly closes down Beverly Hills shopping district

A bomb scare closed streets in the heart of Beverly Hills for a short time on Friday.

According to the Beverly Hills police, a bomb threat was called in at a Rite Aid drugstore on Canon Drive.

Police closed numerous streets in the area as they investigated around noon.

By 12:50 p.m., police determined there was no bomb and began reopening streets.
