Victim in fatal ‘drive-up’ stabbing in Eagle Rock is identified
Los Angeles County coroner’s officials have identified the man fatally stabbed in broad daylight in Eagle Rock earlier this week as 19-year-old Andrew Michael Stittiams.
Police said Stittiams was standing on a sidewalk near North Figueroa Street and Yosemite Drive on Monday when three suspects in a vehicle drove up around 4:30 p.m. One of the suspects exited the car, rushed Stittiams and stabbed him multiple times, according to Los Angeles police.
Stittiams was taken to a hospital where he later died.
No description of the suspects was available Friday and the investigation remained ongoing.
