Motorcyclist killed in Palm Springs crash
A motorcyclist was killed Monday in a single-vehicle accident in Palm Springs, authorities said.
The crash happened about 11:10 a.m. near District Center Drive and Gene Autry Trail, according to Riverside County sheriff’s officials.
The motorcyclist was traveling south on Gene Autry Trail at a high rate of speed, lost control and crashed, hitting the curb.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. No one else was injured.
The victim has not been identified.
