Police shot a man Tuesday morning who allegedly shot a woman during a domestic dispute in South Los Angeles, police said.
LAPD officers were responded to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon near South Normandie Avenue and West 41st Place at about 9:25 a.m. said Sgt. Albert Gonzalez.
“They observed the suspect holding some sort of firearm and an officer-involved shooting took place,” Gonzalez said.
The man and the woman were rushed to a local hospital. Their condition was not immediately known.
Four officers were involved in the incident, but none were injured, Gonzalez said.
