Flashback Friday: Road trip bliss

Share

Catherine Lacey Dodd says that when it rains in Los Angeles, she will often take her two young boys to the San Gabriel Mountains. The last time that happened, two weeks ago, there was several feet of fresh snow.

“It was a short and careful drive up the highway, transporting us from flip-flops to snow boots in two hours,” the photographer said.

The image was taken in the Angeles National Forest and shot with a Canon 100 2.8 L macro.
