WATCH IT LIVE: Dallas observes 50th anniversary of JFK assassination
Ceremonies marking the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy were set to begin at 9:45 a.m. Pacific Time at Dealey Plaza in Dallas. Crowds assembled hours beforehand. On Thursday, hundreds flocked to the plaza in downtown Dallas as interest in the event grew. This is the first year that the city where JFK was shot and killed will officially mark the anniversary.
