Letters: Fund a missile silo, feed a town

Re "U.S. to remove 50 ICBMs from silos," April 9

This article states that the federal government will keep 50 missile silos "warm but empty" in Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming even though they are no longer needed. They will be maintained as a boon to local economies.

This is federal welfare at its best.
