Cavendish wins Stage 14 of the Tour, Froome keeps yellow jersey

LesDombes Parc des Oiseaux (France), Jul 16 (EFE). British rider Mark Cavendish, won Saturday’s Stage 14 of the 2016 Tour de France, a 208.5 kilometer (130 mile) run from Montelimar to VillarsLesDombes Parc des Oiseaux.

The Dimension Data rider crossed the line in 5 hours, 43 minutes and 49 seconds to win his 30th individual career stage.

he was followed by Norwegian Alexander Kristoff (Team Katusha) and Slovak, Peter Sagan (Tinkoff).

Briton Chris Froome (Team Sky) kept the yellow jersey after Stage 14, retaining the lead in the overall classifications.

Dutch rider Bauke Mollema (TrekSegafredo) ranked 0:01:47 behind the leader.

Briton, Adam Yates (OricaBikeexchange) ranked third place, 0:02:45 behind Froome.

Sunday’s Stage 15 of the Tour features a 160 km (99 mile) hilly run from BourgenBresse to Culoz.
