League hosts Casino Night

The Burbank Chapter of National Charity League is having a Casino Night on Feb. 9 at the Castaway Restaurant to raise money for its local philanthropies.

The night will include dinner, dancing, blackjack and roulette tables and a poker tournament. There will also be basket raffles and an auction for great prizes.

All proceeds will be distributed to local philanthropies, such as Burbank Temporary Aid Center, Burbank Family Service Agency, Kid’s Community Dental Clinic of Burbank and BCR “a place to grow,” just to name a few.

For more than 50 years, the mothers and daughters of the Burbank Chapter of National Charity League Inc. have worked together to perform volunteer services as well as to provide goods and funds for local nonprofit agencies. The Burbank chapter accepts members from Burbank and surrounding areas.
