Organizations: School offers summer camp

First Lutheran School of Burbank will offer “Time in the Son” summer camp program for children ages 5 to 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 7 through Aug. 13.

An extended day-care program will also be offered to the children attending summer camp from 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. at no additional charge.

Registration is $130, and weekly rates are $90 for three days a week and $130 for five days a week.

Activities include daily chapel time, weekly field trips, computers and a talent show.

Women In Theatre seeks nominations

Women In Theatre is seeking nominations for its seventh annual Red Carpet Awards scheduled for Oct. 23 at the Castaway in Burbank.

The event is held in October as a celebration of National Arts and Humanities Month. The Colony Theatre from Burbank was one of the honorees last year.

Nominations can be submitted on individuals (men and women) and/or organizations, groups and theaters who have demonstrated extensive support and involvement in the live theatrical arts throughout Greater Los Angeles.

Nominations must be in written form, postmarked by Tuesday and mailed to: Women In Theatre Red Carpet Awards 11684 Ventura Blvd. No. 444, Studio City, CA 91604.
