Engaged: Algiers, Myers

Catherine M. Algiers, daughter of Joseph and Josephine Algiers of Burbank, will marry Anthony “Tony” R. Myers of San Diego, son of Jeanette Lowdon of Morocco, in July.

Algiers graduated with a bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego. She also has a master’s degree in school psychology. She works as a school psychologist for the Newhall School District.

Myers will graduate from UC San Diego in June with a degree in computer science. He will work for Qualcomm as a software engineer.
