Burbank area events: ‘Hidden Jewels’ exhibit on display at local arts center

An exhibit called “Hidden Jewels,” sponsored by the Burbank Cultural Arts Commission, is on display at the Betsy Lueke Creative Arts Center through Feb. 27.

The center is located at 1100 W. Clark Ave., Burbank.

Family event coming up

A family event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, at George Izay Park, 1111 W. Olive Ave., Burbank.


There will be food, activities and several opportunities for residents to share what they like about local parks and any changes they’d like to see made.

Republican group to discuss election at monthly meeting

The Glendale, Burbank and Crescenta Valley Republican Assembly holds a monthly meeting every fourth Wednesday of the month.

At 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 26, participants will discuss candidates, races and issues during a program at the La Crescenta Women’s Clubhouse, 4004 La Crescenta Ave., La Crescenta.
