Christmas charity pairs with Burbank Wendy’s

Operation Christmas Child is teaming up with the Wendy’s restaurant in Burbank for a fundraiser from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

For any customer who presents an Operation Christmas Child flier located at the store entrance when they make their purchase, Wendy’s will donate 50% of the proceeds to benefit the children’s charity.

Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected and hand-delivered more than 113 million gift-filled shoeboxes to underprivileged children in more than 150 countries around the world. In 2015, Operation Christmas Child hopes to collect enough shoebox gifts to reach another 11 million children.

The local Wendy’s is located at 1575 Victory Place.
