Teens to hold event to raise funds for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Three Burbank High School students will raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with a brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Once Upon A Page, 2527 W. Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank.
Lauren Ryan, Nikki Howell and Haven Dragomer put together the event, called “Brunch and Bags,” as part of their overall effort to raise $50,000 for the society by March 9. At the event, purses and handbags will be auctioned off.
Wendy Miller, Associated Student Body advisor at Burbank High, is also involved in the project.
