Caltrans to make offramp improvements on 5 Freeway

Motorists will need to plan ahead when traveling through Burbank on the 5 Freeway during the end of the month.

Starting at 9 p.m. Thursday, Caltrans will be closing the northbound Buena Vista Street offramp on the 5 Freeway to allow crews to reconstruct the offramp, according to transit officials.

The construction is scheduled to be completed by Monday, when the offramp is slated to be reopened around 6 a.m.

All other ramps at Buena Vista will be open during the 81-hour closure of the offramp.
