The following incidents were taken from police reports.

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

100 block of East Alameda Avenue: An armed robber escaped with $1,500

from Downey Savings at 2:09 p.m. Tuesday., police said. The man demanded

money from a bank teller and gestured toward his waistband like he had a

gun, police said. The teller gave the man the money before he drove off

in a dark-colored sedan, police said.

AIRPORT DISTRICT

2627 N. Hollywood Way: A 37-year-old Southwest Airlines employee

reported that a customer grabbed him at 9:10 p.m. Monday. The suspect, a

Van Nuys man, allegedly grabbed the employee and demanded to know if he

had been rude to his mother on the phone. Airport police contacted the

suspect, but he was not arrested.

HILLSIDE DISTRICT

902 N. Third St.: A 15-year-old Burbank High School student was cited

for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana at 2:10 p.m Tuesday,

police said. The boy was arrested on campus after a school official was

informed that he and some other students may have had drugs. The student

allegedly had part of a marijuana cigarette in his possession.

500 block of East Magnolia Boulevard: A 27-year-old Burbank man

reported about $2,000 was stolen from his apartment at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday.

The man told police a 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, who are

both from Moreno Valley, stole the money. The man allegedly had a

handgun. The Burbank man had contacted the woman through a massage

service advertisement, police said.

MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

2800 block of North Lima Street: A 36-year-old North Hollywood man

reported a co-worker tried to punch him Tuesday at 6:15 p.m., police

said. The two argued about one of the women’s girlfriends before the

altercation, police said. The co-worker pulled the man outside and tried

unsuccessfully to hit him, police said. No arrests were made.

NORTHWEST DISTRICT

1500 block of Edison Boulevard: An 18-year-old Burbank man was

arrested on suspicion of rape Wednesday at 12:48 a.m. The man allegedly

raped a 19-year-old woman who police said is his former girlfriend.

Police said the woman was temporarily staying at the man’s apartment when

the attack occurred. The woman was checked at a county hospital and

reportedly had bruises, police said.

BURBANK VILLAGE

107 S. First St.: More than $3,000 worth of vodka was reported stolen

from Bobby McGee’s at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday. A rear door of the restaurant

was pried open as was the door to a storeroom where the more than 30

bottles of alcohol were kept, police said. More than $2,000 was also

stolen from an automated teller machine in the bar, police said.

MEDIA DISTRICT WEST

3113 W. Olive Avenue: A 23-year-old Burbank man was seriously injured

when he was attacked by a group of men at 8:05 p.m. Monday, police said.

The man was punched in the head, knocked to the ground and then kicked in

the stomach by the group outside Acapulco restaurant, police said. The

group apparently attacked the man after asking if he had been in a county

jail.
