Junior Chamber readies for pageants

AIRPORT DISTRICT -- Presented by the Burbank Junior Chamber of

Commerce, the 54th Annual Miss Burbank 2000 and Miss Teen Burbank 2000

pageants will kick off at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hilton Burbank.

Last year’s winners will be present, and the event will be hosted by

Alisa Kimble, Miss California USA 1997, and 102.7 KIIS FM’s Chris Leary.

Musical entertainment will include the blues band Jessie and the Rain

Dogs, and singer/pianist Michael Africk.

Tickets are $25 at the door.
