MEYER -- BABINEAUX

Melissa Ann Meyer and Paul Demaville Babineaux have announced their

plans to marry in January.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Preston and Diane Meyer of Burbank.

She graduated from John Burroughs High School and is attending Pasadena

City College, where she will graduate in June with a associated science

degree in paralegal.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Ron and Brenda Mullins of Phoenix.

He graduated from Burbank High School. He is the manager of Gary’s Tux

Shop in Valencia.

SCHACKMANN -- PLANK

Emily Schackmann and Ezra Plank have announced their plans to marry in

December. The engagement ring given to Emily belonged to the

groom-elect’s great-grandmother.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Randy and Anita Schackmann of

Burbank. She graduated from John Burroughs High School and is a junior at

Pepperdine University. She has an internship with the International Bible

Society.

The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Robert and Smilja Plank of Pollock

Pines. He graduated in 1999 from Pepperdine University, and is employed

there as student ministries coordinator while he continues his graduate

studies.
