* 400 block of California Street: A 47-year-old Burbank woman was

arrested Monday after hitting her 49-year-old husband with a spoon

during an argument before a divorce hearing, police said.

* 1111 W. Olive Ave.: A 52-year-old Burbank man was arrested

Sunday on suspicion of being drunk in public at George Izay Park.

RANCHO DISTRICT

* Intersection of Beachwood and Riverside drives: A 41-year-old

Burbank man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of trying to choke a

27-year-old woman. The man had apparently also called the woman and

threatened her, police said.
