ELIZABETH BELL BLACKWOOD

Elizabeth Bell Blackwood, 80, died Feb. 17, 2003, in Riverside.

Born May 12, 1922, in Llano, Texas, she was a longtime resident of

Burbank who worked as a data processor at Stuart Pharmaceuticals for

30 years.

She was involved with the Fun Over 40 Club in Burbank, the

Pasadena Senior Center and was the treasurer of the Rosemead Center

Dance Club. Mrs. Blackwood is survived by her son, Dan Blackwood;

four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Eckerman-Heisman

Funeral Service Chapel, 333 E. Magnolia Blvd. The interment will

follow at Valhalla Memorial Park, 10621 Victory Blvd., North

Hollywood.

LUCILLE GORDON DEAN

Lucille Gordon Dean, 80, died Feb. 5, 2003, in Burbank.

She was a longtime Burbank resident.

Mrs. Dean is survived by two nephews.

A memorial Mass was Friday at St. Finbar Catholic Church. The

interment was in Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello.

Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service was in charge of direction.

JUANITA DOWLE

Juanita Dowle, 89, died Feb. 13, 2003.

Born Feb. 27, 1913, she was a 67-year resident of Burbank. She was

actively involved in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, as well as many

community affairs.

Mrs. Dowle is survived by her two daughters, Marilyn Dederer and

Cynthia Tuma; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be in Santa Barbara.

The Valley Funeral Home is in charge of direction.

MARJORIE B. ELLIOTT

Marjorie B. Elliott, 85, died Feb. 15, 2003, in Burbank.

Born in Dallas in 1917, she was a 43-year Burbank resident.

Mrs. Elliott is survived by her husband, Jack; sons, Michael and

Timothy; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Calvary Bible Church, 1101

S. Main St.

LUELLA HAZEL PELTIER

Luella Hazel Peltier, 86, died Feb. 15, 2003, in North Hollywood.

Born May 23, 1916, in Crookston, Minn., she was a 46-year Burbank

resident who worked at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center for 25

years.

Mrs. Peltier is survived by her sons, Dennis and Gary; daughter,

Gayle Coauette; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A burial Mass is at 10 a.m. today at St. Finbar Catholic Church,

2010 W. Olive Ave. The interment will follow at San Fernando Mission

Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills.
