‘The Jungle Book 2’ gets an A for humor
Sareen Kellzi, 14, of Glendale is a 10th-grader at Clark Magnet High
School in La Crescenta.
“The Jungle Book 2,” the latest in a long line of Disney sequels,
starts where “The Jungle Book” leaves off. Based on Rudyard Kipling’s
novel, the film is a humorous and charming look at life in the
jungle. With all of the original characters, such as Baloo the bear,
Bagheera the panther, and Mowgli “the man cub,” and many new ones,
this movie is sure to be a hit with kids, especially those who
enjoyed the first movie.
Songs like “The Bare Necessities” can be heard throughout the
film, as well as some new tunes. At one hour and 12 minutes the movie
is fairly short, but I would recommend it to anyone in the mood to
laugh and maybe even sing along.
“The Jungle Book 2” is rated G.
