LAVONNE MAXINE EASLEY

Lavonne Maxine Easley, 79, died March 2, 2003, in Burbank.

Born Jan. 18, 1924, in Sioux City, Iowa, she was a 50-year Burbank

resident who worked as an architect. She was involved in the Burbank

YMCA as well as church activities.

Mrs. Easley is survived by her husband, William; children Tyler,

Paul, Ann and Lynn; and seven grandchildren.

Services are at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church,

521 E. Olive Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the

BARBARA E. TONIONE

Barbara E. Tonione, 69, died March 2, 2003, in Burbank.

Born March 29, 1933, in Weymouth, Mass., she was a longtime

Burbank resident who worked for Hydro-Aire for 33 years.

Mrs. Tonione is survived by her husband, Valentine; daughter,

Karen Jackson; stepson, Val; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service is at 4 p.m. Friday at her home in Burbank. For

RICHARD H. LUDERS

Richard H. Luders, 89, died Feb. 28, 2003, in Eagle Rock.

Born July 20, 1913, in Chicago, he was a 58-year Burbank resident

who worked as an industrial engineer for Lockheed Co.

He was a member of the Lockheed Stardusters and was active in the

Burbank and East Valley Congregational Church.

Mr. Luders is survived by his daughters, Priscilla Garcia and

Cynthia Clay; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Solheim Lutheran

Home, 2236 Merton Ave., Eagle Rock.

JOHN R. SCOTT

John R. Scott, 72, died March 1, 2003, in Burbank.

Born May 24, 1930, in Los Angeles, he was a 38-year resident who

worked for Pacific Bell as a phone technician. He was also a U.S.

Army veteran and a member of the La Crescenta Sportsman’s Club.

Mr. Scott is survived by his children, Juli, Brian and Michael;

and three grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Valley Funeral Home, 2121

W. Burbank Blvd. A funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Finbar

Catholic Church, 2010 W. Olive Ave. Interment is at San Fernando

Mission Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills.
