CATHERINE A. KILKES

Catherine A. Kilkes, 58, died March 7, 2003, in Burbank.

Born March 9, 1942, in Queens County, N.Y., she was a longtime

Burbank resident. She was an eighth-grade history teacher at

Incarnation Parochial School in Glendale and who also taught at St.

Robert Bellarmine Parochial School in Burbank and High Point Academy

in Glendale during her career.

Mrs. Kilkes is survived by her sons, Christopher and Timothy.

A memorial Mass is at 11 a.m. today at Incarnation Catholic

Church, 1001 N. Brand Blvd., Glendale. Interment is private.

Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service is in charge of direction.

HERBERT A. THRIFT

Herbert A. Thrift, 82, died March 10, 2003, in Los Angeles.

Born Sept. 22, 1920, in Woonsocket, R.I., he was a 47-year

resident of Burbank and worked as a price negotiator for Lockheed

Corp. for 40 years.

Mr. Thrift is survived by his wife, Madonna; daughter, Cassandra

Jones; and grandson, Quentin Jones.

The visitation for family is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and the Mass

of Christian burial is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo

Chapel, 10850 Moorpark St., North Hollywood. The interment will

follow the service at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
